beyerdynamic impresses with outstanding design: AMIRON 300 and AVENTHO 300 win the Red Dot Design Award 2025

Heilbronn, June 2025 – With the AMIRON 300 and AVENTHO 300 headphone models, beyerdynamic focuses on a clear design language and sophisticated functionality – and receives the Red Dot Design Award 2025 for this. With this award, the two new headphone models are among the best design solutions of the year.

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the world's most important design competitions. Since its launch in 1955, it has honored products that excel through their design excellence. In 2025, an independent jury of 43 experts from 21 countries reviewed the submissions and awarded the "Red Dot" for excellent design to products that demonstrate outstanding quality in the areas of function, aesthetics, and usability.

"When designing the AMIRON 300 and AVENTHO 300, we weren't interested in chasing a trend—rather, we were interested in developing a design language that showcases our technological expertise while simultaneously understanding the everyday lives of users," explains Stefan Hasselwander, Head of Product Design at beyerdynamic. The verdict of the jury that decided on the Red Dot Design Awards was extremely positive:

Meanwhile, the AVENTHO 300 scores points with "advanced audio technology as well as their ergonomic design, which was inspired by the human ear."

AMIRON 300 and AVENTHO 300: Excellent design meets acoustic precision

The award-winning headphones symbolize beyerdynamic's commitment to combining exceptional product design with audiophile sound quality. The AMIRON 300, a pair of wireless in-ear headphones, impresses with its 10 mm drivers and support for high-resolution codecs such as LDAC, AAC, and SBC. Weighing just 4.4 grams per earpiece, with an ergonomic fit and five silicone eartip sizes, they offer maximum comfort – even during long listening sessions. Active noise cancellation including transparency mode, Bluetooth® 5.3 with multipoint functionality, and six microphones for clear conversations underscore the company's technological excellence. Thanks to its charging case, which supports wireless charging, the AMIRON 300 delivers up to 38 hours of mobile listening pleasure.

The AVENTHO 300, wireless over-ear headphones with STELLAR.45 drivers "Made in Germany," were also developed for immersive audio experiences on the go. Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking TechnologyTM lay the foundation for a three-dimensional sound image, complemented by adaptive noise cancellation and a hybrid transparency mode. Bluetooth® 5.4 with multipoint, automatic play/pause, and outstanding ergonomics with a memory foam headband and foldable aluminum design make the AVENTHO 300 the perfect travel companion – with a battery life of up to 50 hours with ANC and up to 60 hours without ANC. A recently released software update brings additional optimizations that noticeably improve the listening experience.
